Ongoing Requirements

After obtaining your Paraguay gun license:

  • Storage: All firearms must be stored in locked gun safe, unloaded, with ammunition stored separately
  • Transportation: Firearms must be unloaded, in locked case, only between home/range/gunsmith
  • Registration: Each firearm must be registered within 30 days of purchase ($50-100 per firearm)
  • Renewal: License expires after 5 years (requires updated psychological/medical evaluations)
